COOLING OFF: Soothe your nervous system after a rough day 🗣🥣 🌊

About this 16 Minute Sound Bath:

Conceived and recorded in a moment where the entire West Coast seemed to be engulfed in flame and smoke, this sound bath was my way of integrating the grief of all the losses both human and environmental, the real fears of climate change/ climate anxiety, and as a way to stay sane after nearly an entire month of "spare-the-air" days.

I open with a few introductory comments before playing a refreshing crystal bowl set, followed by the gentle oceanic rhythms of my 28" Ocean Wave Drum.

This sound bath soothes the complex feelings during fire season but is also good for times when you are feeling really "hot" mentally and need to cool off, discharge extra energy, and recenter.

For example, the other day I went to dmv and then, stupidly, an outdoor mall. I'll be fine! Yeahhhh right, Melissa. I was nearing a melt down in the mall parking lot, my nervous system was a mess. I stopped what I was doing and listened to this sound bath on the steps outside a closed restaurant and immediately felt my anxiety cool off, my breathing slow, and left completely recharged.
